Today on our 2006 Cadillac Escalade, we'll be test-fitting the rapid hitch adjustable aluminum ball mount kit with two chrome balls, part number AM 3410. Now before installing our new rapid hitch adjustable ball mount, we'll first need to get our hitch height measurement. To do this, we'll measure from the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground. Now, in this truck, that measurement is 15 1/4 inches. Now keep in mind that this measurement can change do you to tire size, hitch style, or any other accessory that may change your vehicle's right height, so it's a good idea to measure yours. We'll now slide our ball mount into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole, and install our hitch pin. more

Today on our 2006 Cadillac Escalade well be test fitting the Draw Tite ball mount with three quarter inch rise or two inch drop, rated at 6,000 pounds, part number 2923. Before we install our ball mount well need to measure our hitch height measurement. To do this, well measure from the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground. On this truck, that measurement is 15 inches. Keep in mind that this measurement can change due to tire size, hitch style or any other accessory that may change your vehicles ride height, so its a good idea to measure yours. Well now slide the shank of the ball mount into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. more

Now to begin we need to get our hitch height measurement. To do this we'll measure from the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground. Now on this truck that measurement is fifteen and a quarter inches. Now keep in mind that this measurement can change due to tire size, hitch style, or any other accessory that may change your vehicle's ride height. It's a good idea to measure yours. more
